• Abstract : These guidelines, developed by the MusaNet Taxonomy Advisory Group, aim to establish a standardized procedure for the routine morphological characterization of the banana subgroup East African Highland Bananas (EAHBs) using 18 minimum descriptors. This list was developed following testing by and input from Musa curators and researchers taking part in the MusaNet workshop in Uganda in December 2016.
