• Abstract : This workshop was co-organized by CARBAP (Centre Africain de Recherches sur Bananiers et Plantains) and IITA (International Institute of Tropical Agriculture) as an explicit attempt to bring together the leading Musa research and breeding programs from across the world to brainstorm with experts from allied crops and disciplines in order to conceptualize a collective strategy for enhancing cross-breeding of bananas and plantains for Africa.
